CAAMS is a custom developed, bolt on solution that allows companies to process all of their cash through a web portal or premise-based application, significantly reducing time to close and manual matching (headcount). Even more importantly, CAAMS was built to enable the process of managing unwarranted deductions and tracking them to collection or closure.
The key capabilities include: 1) matching payments, 2) applying business rules to payments, and 3) providing web tools to fix payments that require additional attention. The solution combines all payment types including Checks, ACH and Wires. In addition, the solution can match external EDI transactions to payments. In addition, CAAMS creates adjusting entries for non-matching payments once all issues have been resolved.
